Today I come with a craft to do with children that they surely love, because it is very fun and useful, let's see how to make your own timpani using a clay pot.
As you read it, you can transform a clay pot into a fun instrument to play with children.
Materials to make the timpani:
- Clay pot.
- Craft wrapping paper.
- White glue.
- Brush.
- Paintings.
- Permanent marker.
- Elastic rubber.
- pencil.
Processing:
- Make your own design for the timpani, and With the paintings you see giving it color.
- If required Mark the details with a permanent marker.
- Now cut three squares of the crafts paper slightly larger than the diameter of your pot.
- Glue with white glue lowered with water these one paper with another. If necessary, secure with tape so that the paper does not roll.
- Repeat the same operation with the other paper, stick the paper as seen in the image turning every time you put one on.
- Place glue on top of the pot, permeates the entire edge.
- Apply the paper on top, stretch well to make a smooth surface. Lower the edges of the outline so that they adhere well.
- Pass a rubber band all around the contour so the paper will not move and it will be well attached.
- Let it dry at least two hours, if you are very impatient otherwise, you can wait more.
- Now you can enjoy your new instrument and solo with your new timpani.
