Surely you have at home one of those notebooks that are stapled on the spine and that do not tell you anything. Well today I'm going to show you how to make a notebook from a school notebook and completely change its appearance, no one will say that you got it out of there.
Makings:
- School notebook (Din A5 size).
- Decorated papers.
- Double sided tape.
- Punch.
- Lace.
- Shaped die.
- Binding machine.
- Dock.
- Cutter.
- Ruler.
- Brooch.
- Masking tape.
- Ball.
Processing:

- As I was telling you, we are going to start from a school notebook, the kind that are stapled on the spine. With the help of the cutter and a ruler, cut the notebook in halfPutting a lot of pressure on the ruler and little on the cutter, it is better to make many passes, so that it does not move and the cut is cleaner.
- Repeat the same operation to remove the loin area and that the loose leaves remain like this.

- Now take the lids to decorate. Double-sided tape the decorated paper to the lid. Cut the corners into triangles leaving a few millimeters to the ends of the cardboard on the lid.
- Now fold inwards, sticking with the double-sided tape.

- It is time to put the clasp. Make a hole with the help of the punch or punch. Insert the clasp and open it at the back so that it is fastened. You can also add some masking tape to make it firmer.
- Now place the lace on the back cover fastening it with double-sided tape or a dot of glue. You can also put satin ribbon or cord.

- To decorate the cover I have glued lace as a spine. The time is now for the ends to be well finished.
- Take the measurement of the caps and cut two rectangles half a centimeter less on each side and glue on the inside of the covers. In my case I have inked the entire outline to give it another finish.

- In the image you can see how it looks once you paste the decorated papers on the inside of the covers.
- Everything is ready to bind. If you do not have a binder, you can take it to a stationery store to get the spring or put two rings on the side.

- Die a shape and paste on the cover. Here you can use your imagination and decorate your notebook however you want, I wanted to give it a more romantic look and I have cut out a butterfly.
- Finally, place a ball or bead at the tip of the lace for closure.
