Christmas angels They are one of the most beautiful decorations of these dates. In this post I am going to teach you how to make a children's one, perfect to decorate your Christmas tree or any corner of the house.
Materials to make the Christmas angel
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Eva rubber punches
- Heart cookie cutter
- Golden pipe cleaners
- Lace ribbon or similar
- Permanent markers
- Pencil
- Mobile eyes
- Eyeshadow and cotton swab
- White acrylic paint and an awl
Process of making the Christmas angel
- Let's start by clipping a eva rubber circle in skin color of about 6 cm in diameter and two small circles, with the help of the hole punch, to form ears.
- We will glue them to the sides.
- Now, I am going to form the angel's bangs with a spiral. If you don't have one, you can make the hair the way you like it the most.
- We will use mobile eyes for our little angel, so they can move when placing it in our crafts.
- With a fine permanent black marker I will make the details of eyelashes and nose. Later, with red, I will do a smile.
- With eye shadow or blush and a cotton swab I'm going to color it the cheeks.
- We will form the body of our angel, sticking the hands to the sleeves. I have used a hole punch, but you can make them easier.
- The wings They will be in the form of a leaf so as not to complicate us much and the dress will be as simple as the one you see in the image. Glue it on top of the wings so they don't move.
- Once this is done, stick the head of our angel on top of the body.
- With a cookie cutter in the shape of heart I'm going to make a red one out of eva rubber.
- I will stick it in the center of the body and the arm pieces will go on top.
- With lace ribbon or similar I am going to make a I go down to the dress to make it more elegant. I'm going to stick it from behind to prevent the glue from showing and our work from getting stained.
- It is the turn to form the angel's halo. For this I am going to use a pipe cleaner in gold color. You just have to form a circle and stick it behind the head.
The last touches to our little angel.
- We only have the details. I'm going to start with the wings, using a pencil and I'm going to make some feather lines.
- Then, with white paint and an awl I'm going to make some little points of light on the cheeks.
And so our angel is finished. If you want to hang it, you just have to put a string or thread on it.
