Kids love riding their bikes when they go out, but on these trips, moms carry everything they need: snacks, wipes, and a toy or two. So today, we're sharing a great craft project to help kids carry all of this on their own bikes.
This unique and fun cardboard basket will delight them, especially if they make it themselves. This way, we make them responsible for their belongings and encourage the recycling of these materials to create useful and creative items.
Materials
- Corrugated cardboard.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Flanges.
- Brushes.
- Painting.
- Zeal.
Process
First, we'll draw the different pieces of the box onto the cardboard , making the front part especially in the shape of a favorite animal. Once all the pieces are drawn, we'll cut them out.
Next, to see the final shape of the box and thus be able to correct or not assemble it, we will tape it , and then glue it permanently.
Then, once it's dry, we'll drill the various holes to later insert the cable ties. Finally, we'll paint it however we like and add all sorts of details.
Finally, we'll attach our fun basket to the bike using the zip ties. Keep in mind that it can carry weight, so it must be secured tightly.
