This craft is ideal for Halloween and to do with children because of how simple it is. It is a craft with few materials and that will look great once it is finished. It is a craft that children can place in their bedrooms for the terrifying night or decorate the home with it. Are you ready to do it?
If the children are over 6 years old, they can do it practically independently, but if they are younger, it is better that you be by their side to supervise the activity and to prevent them from hurting themselves with the scissors. You'll even have to make the mummy template yourself so they can cut it out.
What materials will you need
- 1 black card
- 1 pencil
- Eraser
- White rope or white wool
- Moving eyes
- Glue
- Scissors
- Zeal
How to make the craft
First of all you will have to draw the silhouette of the mummy, as you see in the image. Once you have it you will have to cut it out. When you have it trimmed, take the white thread or rope and put one end behind the mummy's head so that you can put it on with zeal.
Once it is fixed with zeal, begin to surround the mummy with the white rope as you can see in the images until it is “mummified”. Once you have all the rope on, take the movable eyes and glue them to the face of the mummy.
Once it is completely ready, you will be able to enjoy this easy craft to decorate at home. Being such an easy craft, with the necessary materials it can be done with several children at the same time, because they can help each other by watching how it is done.
It is a very easy craft to enjoy the Halloween party! It sure looks great on you!
