In today's craft we are going to make a simple brush blanket and brushes No more cluttering brushes or storing them in any case!
Do you want to see how to do it?
Materials that we will need to make our blanket for brushes and brushes
- Trivet mat, there are colored ones and with the wood in sight, choose what you like the most. In my case, I chose a red one.
- Fine fabric ribbon, in my case I have reused the ribbon with which a box of chocolates was closed
- Brushes and brushes to keep
Hands on craft
- We extend the mat and take the longest brush we have, center it and We mark with a mark on the mat a little below the middle of the brush. At that point we begin to pass the tape to hold the brushes.
- Before starting to pass the tape it is necessary count brushes that we want because we will have to make as many passes with the tape as we have brushes.
- we'll go passing the tape as if we sewed leaving more space on the inside than on the back. To get a good hold of the brushes we can put each brush before making the pass with the tape, in this way we will create the exact gap that we need to hold each brush.
- It is important that one of the ends of the tape stays next to the edge of the mat, the other simply to cover the brushes that we need to save. Although it is preferable not to fill more than 2/3 of the mat.
- We will leave the ends of the ribbon on the outside of the mat to be able to tie it later.
- Once we have placed the brushes, we fold the empty part of the mat over the part with the brushes and We roll up the mat and then the tape several turns to close well the mat and then we tie the two ends.
And ready!
I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
