The bookmarks they are the most attractive resource to hook children to reading. In this post I am going to teach you how to make this funny ladybug.
Materials to make the ladybug bookmark
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Mobile eyes
- Round head pins
- Wood sticks
- Flower & Circle Punch
- Blush and cotton swab
Procedure for making the ladybug bookmark
- Cut out two circles of approximately 6 cm in diameter with the compass or with a plate or plug that measures that.
- Glue two pins round-headed as you see in the image that will be the ladybug's antennae.
- Then place on top the other circle black to cover the pins.
- Recorta another circle in skin-colored eva rubber, but make this shape that will be the ladybug's face and cut it out. Then stick it on top of the head.
- Sticking the eyes mobiles in the face.
- Now, cut out an oval shape in red eva rubber that will be the body of our ladybug and stick it on top of the wooden stick, which I have chosen green.
- With black marker I'm going to do body details making a black line and the little dots of the ladybug.
- Then I'll do the face details: the nose, made with a Styrofoam ball or a pompom, the eyelashes, the smile and the blushes, which I have made with eyeshadow and a cotton swab.
- To finish, I am going to place two eva rubber flowers that I have made with the hole punch and I have decorated them even more with a red circle in their center.
- Now I will stick them on the wooden stick and we have already finished our bookmark.
