Cookie jar

COOKIES BOX

Today at Crafts ON we are going to make a very easy and practical craft: we are going to see how to turn a Pringles jar into a cookie jar.

Doesn't it happen to you that the cookie packages stay open halfway, because they don't get used up at all? That makes them soften or that when I go to take it from the cupboard the cookies may fall, because I'm going to show you one solution so that it does not happen again.

Makings:

  1. Pringles Bacio Boat.
  2. Cardstock or decorated paper.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Glue.
  5. washi-tape.
  6. ballpoint.
  7. Lettering template.
  8. Cookie-shaped die (optional).

Processing:

PROCESS BOX 1

  • The first thing we will do is wash the pot and dry it well. Once prepared we go with its transformation. We measure length and contour to calculate the measurements, we pass them to the cardboard and we cut it. We put glue on the pot and we are applying the cardboard little by little, taking care that it does not twist and is securely attached.
  • We start with the decoration: for this I have used washy tape. You can put it as you like the most.

PROCESS BOX 3

  • To finish the decoration I have made a card, I have decorated it with the G for cookie, made with letter template, a bit of washy tape and a false stitched with a ballpoint pen.
  • The card is attached to the box by holding the card string with the washy tape on the top of the pot.

PROCESS BOX 2

  • To decorate the lid I have cut a cardboard with a cookie-shaped die. If you do not have a die of this type, you can make a circle and cut it with scissors.
  • Place the glue on the lid and put the cardboard shape has been the following.

BOX 2

You have seen how simple, in a moment we have our cookie jar ready. You can decorate it as you like, it can even be a nice packaging if you make some homemade cookies to give as gifts.
