In today's craft we are going to see how to make candle holders by recycling some glasses, giving them a rustic and romantic air, to set any corner on a special occasion.
With a few materials and in a moment we will change the appearance of that glass that we do not use in a beautiful candle holder, I show you how in the step by step ...
Makings:
The materials to make this craft for the home are the following:
- Glasses.
- Candles.
- Sisal cord.
- Double sided tape.
- Scissors.
- White cardboard.
- Butterfly die.
- Liquid glue.
Processing:
In this case I have made three, because the combination seemed beautiful to me, varying the height of the cord area to differentiate them, but they can also be in pairs or a single candle holder.
- The first is place the double-sided tape on the glass. I have put it on the part that touches the table, but it could also be on the edge of the glass.
- We will apply the cord, inserting the end of the cord as indicated in the image.
- Below is roll the cord around the glass, taking care to cover the entire glass of the glass, so that there are no gaps.
- When we have the whole glass covered, we will cut with the scissors and it will stay stuck with the tape that we have put.
- With the die we will make our butterfly, It can also be any other figure, like a heart I can think of.
- We will stick it to the glass, taking half the cord and half the glass, so they will be at different heights in each glass and the whole will be more harmonious.
- We will tie a knot at the end of the cord and cut with the measure of our butterfly.
- With glue we will glue it to the butterfly to decorate it.
And ready!!! we already have the candle holder. It could also be done with a colored cord and the butterfly to match that color.
