Purse card to give away on Father's Day

In this post I am going to teach you how to do this wallet shaped card to give away on father's day.

Materials to make a father's day card

• Black cardboard
• Ruler and pencil
• Scissors
• Glue
• White and silver permanent marker
• Colored eva rubber
• Heart punch

Procedure for the elaboration of the Father's Day card

• To start you have to trim 2 rectangles of black cardboard. One will measure 24 x 10cm and the little one will measure 24 cm x 8 cm.
• Fold them in half  and then reopen them.
• Glue the small piece over the large one, matching the edges well.

• With a silver marker I'm going to make a backstitch around all pieces to imitate the thread.
• On the cover of the purse I'm going to write "for my dad".
• With the hole punch hearts I'm going to make 2 reds with cardboard or foam.

• I will glue the hearts slightly inclined on the cover of the purse and I will also do some ornament in the corners to make it more beautiful.
• Now to form the inside pocket, I'm going to trim two pieces of black cardboard that they will measure 5 x 9 cm and 4 x 9 cm.
• I will glue one on top of the other to form the set and place it inside the purse.

• I will also do the stitching in these pieces so that everything is integrated.
• Now i will refill the purse of hearts and pieces of paper with personal messages for dad.
• To finish the card I will draw a mustache with the white marker.

And this is how our purse card is finished to give away on Father's Day. You can customize it as you like, you can even put photos inside.
