We have a beautiful and endearing card for the Mother's Day. It is a card with tulips and it is made in a simple way and that children will like to make because it is very special and as if it were a small bouquet of flowers. Personally, if you like to add more flowers, once you have the pot made, you can make many more flowers and place them so that it is more ornate and beautiful. Don't forget that you have a demonstration video so you don't miss out on this craft, follow a few lines below.
If you want to do many more flowers by hand, don't miss out on these crafts:
The materials that have been used for the tulip card:
- A4 size brown cardboard.
- Red cardboard.
- Green cardboard.
- A piece of decorative paper.
- A decorative bow.
- Ruler.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- Marker pen.
- Hot silicone and his gun.
- Punching machine to make some holes.
You can see this manual step by step in the following video:
First step:
We fold the brown cardboard A4 size in half, leaving the fold below.
Second step:
We make a rectangle at the top, measuring 15 centimeters long by 2 cm wide. Then on the bottom line of the rectangle we mark a point 1,5cm distance from the corner. From this point is when we will draw another line that will go downwards to make the shape of the pot. The line will have to go all the way down so that the cutout of the card can fit properly.
Third step:
We cut out what we have drawn. Then, with the help of a thick-tip black marker, we draw the edges of the pot.
Fourth step:
We draw a petal freehand. We cut it out and use it as a template to make the following petals. For each tulip we will need three petals.
Fifth step:
We take two petals and fold them in half. We glue them into one that is whole. With this shape we already have one tulip formed, but we will need to make 3.
Step Six:
On a green cardboard we cut three green strips and glue them as stems on the tulips. Then we glue them inside the pot.
Seventh step:
We cut out a piece of decorative cardboard and glued it to the face of the pot to decorate the cover. Then we make two holes in the edges of the pot to pass the ribbon through and finally make a nice bow.
Eighth step:
We put the dedication inside the card before closing it. We pass the bow through the holes and close it with a nice bow.
Nineth step:
This is what the card looks like when it is opened.
