Hello everybody. Today I return with a tutorial for the little ones that we can even do with them.
Today I will show you how we made some original cardboard crowns using kitchen rolls or toilet paper.
These cardboard crowns can be used to play dress up or also for children's birthdays.
Materials I used to make the cardboard crowns
- Rolls of kitchen paper or toilet paper.
- Paints and brushes.
- Elastic rubber.
- Scissors.
- Marker or pencil.
- Drill.
Procedure
To start I chose various models of crowns that I liked to do them, and little by little I went drawing them on the cards and then cutting them out.
Then one by one I went painting them in colors what did he want. I have used pearl acrylic paint in colors, pink, blue and gray and with a coat of paint I had enough to cover the cardboard crowns well, but depending on the paint you use you will have to apply one or more layers of paint.
When the cardboard crowns were very dry they I made two holes facing each other to pass the elastic band to hold them to the heads of children. I used a normal hole punch that we can get at any stationery store.
Now, I measured and cut the elastic tape to place it on the cardboard crowns, I cut strips of about 35-40 centimeters long and passed them through the holes and made two strong knots so that it does not come loose easily.
And basically we have our cardboard crowns ready and we can already use them. We can also decorate them as we like, in the images you can see some that we have decorated since I did this tutorial with my daughter and we had a great time.
- For this we use glitter to decorate.
- For this we use binders to decorate it.
I hope you liked the tutorial and that you are encouraged to do it with your little ones.
