In the children's room it is very common to have a carpet, since they love to be barefoot in it, either to play or to study. Sometimes you are rugs are too expensive, so today we show you a very simple and cheaper craft.
It is a very striking rug, made with old colored t-shirts. In this way, with the recycling, we get a new accessory, using garments that are going to be thrown away.
Materials
- Ring.
- Old colored t-shirts.
- Scissors.
Process
- We cut strips of t-shirts at least 3 cm wide.
- We take the hoop and tie 2 strips of shirts, splitting the hoop at 4 equal halves.
- Complete with 12 laps of strips, forming a radial.
- Cut out the shirts to start weave the carpet.
- Tie a strip of shirt in the center of the radial and pass them through all the strips of the hoop, one above and the other below.
- Finally, when we have finished all the carpet, we will cut the shirts from the radial and we will tie them to the entire woven weft.
