In this tutorial I will teach you to create christmas tags for perfect gifts to make with children when this Christmas approaches.
Materials
To make the Christmas gift tags you will need the following materials:
- Cardstock labels
- Scissors or cutter
- Pencil
- Patterned paper
- stamps
- Ink for stamps
- Glue stick
- Dimensional painting
Step by step
To start creating Christmas gift tags, the first thing you will need are two tags, which if you don't have them made you can cut out a piece of cardboard. As I have told you, you will need two, although for now you will only work with one.
Draw on one of the labels the silhouette of a Christmas tree, although you can mark the silhouette you want, you have many options. You can draw balls from the tree, a Santa's boot, a star, the head of a reindeer ... If you are not good at drawing or if you want the little ones to do better, you can print the silhouette and draw following its outline.
When you have the drawing done, cut it with scissors or a utility knife.
Now, take the other label, the one that is not cut, and you will also need your patterned paper. Cut it to the size of the label, although it does not have to be perfect, as long as it does not come out over the edges or be smaller than the cut silhouette will be enough.
Stick the stamped paper on the label that you haven't cut, do it with glue stick.
And then also apply glue stick on the cut label and glue it on the one with the stamped paper.
With 3D paint, mark the outline of the drawing so that it is in relief. Children love to use this type of paint.
To finish the decoration, choose a stamp and ink to stamp the rest of the label.
And you will have your label ready to personalize Christmas gifts.
