This craft is fun to make and fun to use. Because in addition to the children having fun doing this craft, They will also be able to learn to understand the hours of the clock better.
It is a very simple craft that requires few materials and that children will also enjoy later learning thanks to the elements they have made themselves. It is ideal for working with children at an age who are learning the hours of the clock (digital or analog).
Materials you need
- 1 cardboard roll of toilet paper (or more than 1 depending on the number of clocks you want to make)
- Markers or colored pencils
- Colored or white paper
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make the craft
We have made analog clocks in this craft, but you can also combine the different spheres with others that are digital. In this way the children will have more breadth of knowledge to internalize.
The first thing you have to do is make the watch faces and cut them out. You can also make them so that it is analog like rectangular shape. Then you will have to draw on each clock (both analog and digital) different types of time.
Once you have all the hours to work with the children drawn, we will cut out the cardboard roll of the toilet paper.
Make some small marks and with the scissors cut as many strips as you need (as many watches as you will need to work the hours with the children). Once you have them all cut out, you will only have to stick one sphere per "bracelet" made with the cardboard of the toilet paper roll.
You will already have the craft done and the children will feel the most satisfied, both for the craft itself but also because thanks to their effort they will be able to learn and enjoy the hours. They will have a great time learning the hours!
