When I woke up and raised the blind, I found myself having a fantastic rainy day and far from being depressed because the days of sun and beach are over, I thought about making some accessories to be able to wear them this fall.
Here you can see how we made a necklace and earrings in the shape of a cloud , perfect!
Material
- Polymer clay, felt, leather, or any other material with which we can make the cloud.
- A cutter or scissors.
- A chain.
- Some slopes bases.
- Some metal rings or metal sticks.
- Awl.
- Round nose pliers.
Process

First, we'll create our cloud for the necklace and a couple of little clouds for the earrings. In this case, I've opted for polymer clay (those of you who follow the blog have surely read more than one article where we've worked with it ), but you can also use leather or felt, for example.
All we have to do is smooth the blue clay with a little green on top. This way, the two colors will blend together. Once it's rolled out, we'll use a skewer to draw the outline of the cloud and the little clouds. Then, we'll use a cutter to remove the excess.
Finally, we will make a hole at each end of the necklace piece and bake it all at 130º for 15 minutes.

Using round-nose pliers, we'll make a couple of washers with the metal rods . We could also use washers directly, but in this case, I didn't have any copper-colored ones.
Then we will add the washers to the holes of the necklace pendant and we will pass the chain to it. As it is a long necklace, we have not needed a closure.

Finally, we'll glue the earring bases to the little clouds , and our necklace and earring set will be ready to wear.
Until the next DIY!
