Mañara is celebrated in all schools on Day of Nonviolence and Peace, a special day to promote non-violence in children of all ages. The children, on this day, perform a multitude of activities, including crafts related to the day of Peace.
Therefore, today we propose this simple and fast craft for the children younger than infant. In this way, they will participate according to their possibilities with this celebration of Peace.
Materials and Tools
- 1 cardboard tube of toilet paper.
- 1 white sheet.
- Piece of white cardboard.
- Glue stick.
- Crayons.
- Pencil and eraser.
Crafting
Firstly, we will take the cardboard tube and we will measure it with the white sheet. We will cut just so that it wraps the entire roll and we will glue.
Then, we will cut a piece of white cardboard, and we will make a wings sketch, tailored to the tube, so that about 2-3 cm come out on each side. We will cut out and glue to the cardboard tube. We will make some wing tips at the ends of the cardboard with the scissors.
Then, we will make a sphere in a piece of white sheet that we have left over, to draw the earth and color the countries green, the color of hope and NO violence.
Finally, we will make the face of our Dove of Peace with waxes and, in addition, we will make the olive sprig, so unique in it, just by drawing it on a sheet of paper and carefully cutting it out.
