flower headband

During the music festivals this spring we have begun to see the tendencies that will mark the rest of the spring summer season.

At the Coachella festival, the flower crown as the star trend that would mark the season. Many thought it would be a one-day flower, but now it seems that they have come to stay and accompany us during the hottest days of the year.

Then, in Crafts ON, We suggest you make your own flower crown with crepe paper and a cord. Easy and pretty, perfect for those nights in the moonlight and so cheap that you can make as many as you want in different colors and shapes.

Material

  1. Crepe paper.
  2. Cord.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Glue.

Process

To make this craft, We will need to recover a previous post in which we showed you how to make crepe paper flowers. Post, what you can find here. Another option is to use fabric flowers like the ones you will find in this other tutorial. Or make any type of flower that you like.

Once we have the flowers made we will only have to braid them on the cord. To do this, we will cut three strips of approximately one meter each. Then we will tie a knot at one end and make a braid. So so When we have a third of the length we will begin to braid the flowers using the stem as part of one of the three cords.

Once the stem is finished, we will fix the flower with a little glue. At the same time we braid a flower, we will add other flowers as we like. That is, more or less flowers and more or less together.

Then, when there is a third of the cord to braid, we will stop putting flowers and we will finish braiding the cord. Finally, we will only have to tie a knot at the end and tie it around our head with the appropriate size.

Until the next DIY!
