Sometimes, with the passing of the years, the shirts become outdated or, they wear out both from use and from washing. Therefore, today we show you a original and fun way to take advantage of them for home decoration.
On a sofa you can never miss a few good ones cushions for our rest in addition to giving a touch of decoration to our living room. In this way, we show you these cushions with so original shirts that are very easy to make.
Materials
- Old shirts.
- Cushions.
- Sewing machine.
- Scissors
- Pins.
Process
First of all, we will take the clean and ironed shirt and we will cut the sleeves. We will turn it over so that the seams are not visible.
Then we will insert the cushion inside the shirt centering it well to take advantage of pockets (if any).
Then, we will surround all the sides of the shirt with pins. We will trim the excess, leaving at least two fingers wide to sew.
Lastly, we will sew all this edge with the sewing machine or a manual stapler. Open the shirt at the buttons, remove the cushion and turn the shirt over. Re-insert the cushion and voila! We have a new fun cushion made with an old shirt.
