Do you have some slightly worn shoes that you'd like to transform? If so, this is the tutorial for you, or at least you can get an idea from it to customize them.
These shoes in the picture are from two seasons ago and the toe was quite damaged (although it's not very noticeable in the photos) so, I decided to apply some lace to transform them and, at the same time, cover up those scratches that made them so ugly.
Materials
- Some old shoes.
- Lace.
- Glue. (As they are made of patent leather, I have used the typical superglue that works quite well for this material, but it is advisable to glue for fabrics)
- Scissors.
Process

We will choose a lace trim that we like and proceed to apply it to the shoes, finding the shape we like best to glue it on afterwards.

In this case, we've chosen a floral-shaped lace trim and applied it at a slight angle. It's important to glue it down carefully and trim off any excess from the sides. For a neater finish, use scissors to trim the edge, pressing firmly between the shoe and the sole to ensure a better bond.

And so they are one and another shoe. One with the lace and the other without. The difference is subtle but it gives the most beautiful.
Until the next DIY!
