Christmas dinner It is one of the most important dates of the year, be it Christmas Eve, December 25 or New Year's Eve. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this felt cutlery holder so original to decorate your table on these dates.
Materials to make the Christmas cutlery holder
- Felt fabric
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Rope or cord
- Permanent markers
- Decorated papers
- Snowflake punch
- Decorated napkins
- Ruler and pencil
Procedure for making the Christmas cutlery holder
- To begin with, cut out on felt the color you like the most, a 40 x 12 cm strip. I have chosen this Christmas green.
- Then make a mark to the 12 cm and stick one end over it. Do the same on both sides, so our cutlery holder will be closed.
- Choose the napkin of the design that you like the most, I have chosen this one with Christmas motifs.
- Measure 12 cm and fold or cut the napkin on that mark.
- Now insert it into the felt carefully so that it is not wrinkled.
- I'm going to use red glitter foam to decorate the cutlery holder with snowflakes of different size, but you can choose stars or any other decoration.
- I'll glue them to the bottom of the cutlery holder.
- To make this job even more personalized, I'm going to build a name tag of the one who is going to sit at the table. For this, I am going to choose two pieces of decorated paper that I have left over from other works and I am going to cut out two parts. The base will be polka dots and on the white one, I will place the name with a black marker.
- Then I will make two holes in the sides of the tag and insert a string or cord to tie it to the cutlery holder.
- Once this is done, I will place two sheets in green eva rubber that I have cut with the pinking shears and I will finish placing a Christmas ball small in red.
- And we have finished our Christmas cutlery holder. Now we only have to introduce the cutlery so that the table is super elegant on these dates.
And so far today's craft, I hope it helps you and you do it. See you on the next idea. Bye!
