Jars of jam, olives or other preserves are great to keep for crafts as they are very practical. In them we can keep food leftovers, as a tuper, or recycle them as cans for introduce legumes and rice.
To give it a different touch, we have opted for wrap them with sailor rope to give it a much more classic and elegant design. This is how we recycle jars in a beautiful and practical way.
Materials
- Glass jars.
- Sailor rope.
- Scissors.
- Silicone.
Process
We will take the end of rope and we will place it downwards and we will wrap the jar with the rope, passing over the end so that it is under the ropes. Afterwards, we continue wrapping little by little exerting a little pressure.
At the same time that you are wrapping you can put a silicone drop on the rope so that it doesn't move as much. Finally, once half the jar is lined (to see what is inside it), we will glue the other ends of the rope well with silicone.
