In this tutorial I teach you to create some eva gum cupcakes easy and quick to make, which will serve both as decoration and for the little ones to play with.
Materials
To do the eva gum cupcakes you will obviously need eva gum, but you will also have to use the following materials:
- Scissors
- Hot silicone
- Wooden stick
- Green acrylic paint
- Red nail polish
- White pencil
- Brush
Los colors eva rubber that I have used are:
- Blanco
- Pink
- Orange
- Green
Step by step
La basis for the eva rubber cupcakes it is the same for the two models that I am going to show you. You will need to cut one eva rubber strip white and another strip of the same thickness but of the other color that you have chosen, in my case for a cake I have used pink and for the other I have chosen the orange. Paste them one on top of the other with silicone y roll them up as if it were the shell of a snail.
To simulate the plate, cut a Circle made of white eva rubber. If you want to make it more fun you can create some ondas and thus shape the plate. Glue the cupcake in the center with silicone.
We are going to do a kind of cherry, so you should apply a good amount of hot silicone in the center of the foam cupcake. It has to be bulky. Quickly, before it dries, cut a piece of toothpick of wood and puncture it in the silicone to simulate the tail. Wait a minute for the silicone to cool and be hard, and then you can paint that part with the enamel de Nails. It is advisable that you do it with enamel and not with acrylic paint since the latter does not set well or cover the silicone enough. The toothpick that you have clicked can be painted with acrylic paint no problem.
For the other cake I have cut one D color orange to simulate the segment of this fruit and I have painted with a white pencil the lines of that segment. Cut two too leaves green and stick them in the center of the eva gum cupcake. Then also adhere the orange at an angle to make it look good.
And you will have your two eva gum cupcakes ready to decorate or play. I can think of more ideas to make them useful, like hitting a magnet and put them in the fridge, or hook a key chain for your keys.
