If you like pets, this craft is ideal for you to do personally. we will create a trough particular, with a large recycled can that we can reuse. It has the right size so that it does not become something so small. If you like recycle objects that are thrown away, this is a good option to give it a second life.
The materials that I have used for the cat feeder:
- A large metal can for recycling.
- Primer for metals.
- Black acrylic paint.
- White acrylic paint or white marking pen.
- Tracing paper.
- Printable drawing for cats. You may download it here.
- Cold silicone glue.
- A thin wooden stick.
- Gold glitter.
- Varnish spray with glossy or wet effect.
- Thick brush and thin brush.
- A little cellophane.
- A pen.

First step:
With the very clean and dry can, we pour the primer by its sides. We will apply it with a brush, where we will paint it later. We let it dry.
Second step:
We paint with the brush the side of the can with the black acrylic paint. We let it dry. We give it another coat of paint if it has not been well covered and we let it dry again.
Third step:
We cut out a piece of tracing and cut out the piece of drawing that we are going to transfer to the can. In the area where we are going to draw it, we will place the trace first (pay attention to placing the area that traces below). Above we place the drawing and hold everything with a few pieces of cellophane.
Fourth step:
with a pencil we go drawing the outline of the drawing of cats. By painting on top we are also tracing the drawing.
Fifth step:
We lift the tracing and the drawing and we will observe that the tracing has been well marked. With the white marking pen We are painting the pictures. If you don't have a marker, you can do it with white acrylic paint and with the help of a fine brush. We let dry.
Step Six:
We take a wooden stick and cold silicone glue and we throw it in the cat tails. Before it dries we add the gold glitter so that it sticks. We shake off the excess and let it dry well. When it has dried, we finally remove the excess glitter with the brush.
Seventh step:
We paste the decorative stars on the sides of the drawing of cats.
Eighth step:
With the gloss varnish spray We will apply it to everything we have worked on. We let it dry and if necessary we apply another layer of varnish.
