In this tutorial I show you the Step by Step to create fish shaped magnet using polymer clay. Of course, you can design it however you want, but I give you a very fun and colorful idea to do it.
Materials
To make the fish shaped magnet you will need a magnet normal. It does not have to be very powerful since polymer clay is usually not too heavy.
You will also need polymer clayIt can be of any type and of the colors that you like the most. I will teach you to make the fish with the colors that you see in the images but you can change them as you want.
Un marker pen permanent bases to make it some small details.
Just like tools You will need an awl and a knife, and as an optional tool a star.
Step by step
Start at the front of the body. Roll it into a ball and roll it on one side to create an egg. Press the thickest part inward with your finger, then flatten the shape with the palm of your hand.

To make the shape more marked, squeeze the projections that will act as fins and make them end in a beak.

It's time for you to hit the magnet. Flip it over, place it in the center, and press the magnet inward. You can secure it with instant adhesive.

To make the mouth press with the knife to create a line. And we are going to add a small speck on top of it, so with an awl make some holes and then insert a small ball of clay in each one.

For eye Make another hole with a thicker tool, insert a white ball into it, and stick a small flattened line in the color of the body on top of it, this will mimic the eyelid.

For iris and pupilYou must make balls with each of the parts, squash them and stick them on the eye. You can make a very small white ball to imitate the gloss of the eyes.

Paint the tabs with the black marker.
As you have seen in that image, you can also put that curve at the end of the mouth to make it look more friendly.
Let's go with the decor. Create fine lines and roll them up like a snail shell. Glue them onto the body of the fish in a line.

You can also make small balls, glue them and with the punch you make a hole in the center.

To do the tail, make a ball and roll it on one side with the palm of your hand, it will be the egg shape that you made at the beginning with the body. Flatten the thickest part and flatten the entire shape with the palm of your hand.

Glue it to the body by the rounded part, and to add more details, mark lines with the knife.

To decorate the tail, create small balls and roll them on one side with your finger. In this way you will create drops that you can stick from top to bottom.

You can also make balls as a continuation of the drops. In different shades of the same color they look great.

Finally, in the lateral glue them some thin, squashed lines. With a star tool you can make some decorative holes.

Let it dry or bake it, depending on the type of polymer clay that you have chosen, and you will have your fish shaped magnet to decorate in the fridge.

If you want more ideas to create magnets, I also leave you the tutorial of the fimo pigs.
