In this tutorial I teach you how to model a flower with baby that is perfect for decoration or detail in christenings y baby shower.
Materials
To make the flower with baby you will need to polymer clay. You can do it with colors you want, but here are the ones I have used for this tutorial.
- Pink
- Blanco
- Flesh color (white + orange)
You will also need acrylic paint black, white and pink. And how tools you will need a knife for cutting and marking, and a brush to apply acrylic paint.
Step by step
Let's start doing the flower with baby by petals. To do this, take the pink color of the clay and separate it into six equal pieces. You must roll each of those pieces until you create a ball. Then flatten each one with the palm of your hand. You will have 6 squashed balls That you must join until you create a circle with them, and if you see that there is a too large hole in the center, join them a little more.
To add details, with a knife mark two stripes on each petal from the center outwards, but only up to the middle of the petal. Press well so it is noticeable and a good mark remains Then, with a brush or a pointed object, paint three little dots on the edge of each petal with white acrylic paint.
With the flesh colored clay, roll into a ball and flatten it with the palm of your hand. You must stick it in the center of the petals and that will be the Tsar of the baby.
With acrylic paint we will make the eyes, since they are very small details. Apply black paint and create two very short lines, and to simulate the gloss of the eyes add two white dots in each one.
We are going to do some red cheeks to make it funnier. Apply a drop of pink acrylic paint and spread it with your fingertip until it is well blended. When they are blurred add three points like those of the petals on each cheek.
All that remains is to do the pacifierTo do this, make a white ball, flatten it and stick it in the baby's mouth. And with another piece of white make another ball, but this time stretch it to create a line, fold it a little like a smile and glue the ends to the pacifier.
And you will have finished your flower with baby to decorate a christening o baby shower. You can also put a hanging ribbon or brooch on it and offer it as gift to guests.
