Glass jars decorated for Valentine's Day

This craft is a great detail to give on the day of Valentine's Day. We love doing this type of crafts, easy and beautiful. We just need to recycle some Glass jars and paint them with pink spray paint You can also use a red spray. And with the help of other simple steps, we will decorate the boat with a marker and some vintage ribbons. To see their steps, you can watch the video that we have made or in the lines below.

The materials that I have used for the Valentine's Day glass jars:

  • A white adhesive sheet.
  • Dark pink spray paint.
  • White fixation marker.
  • Fine tip black fixation marker.
  • Heart drawing to print. Here.
  • Fuchsia semi-transparent decorative tape.
  • Jute rope.
  • Silicone glue and your gun or normal glue.
  • Candles.
  • Scissors.

You can see this craft step by step in the following video:

Third step:

We prepare a table with papers to paint the boats. We take a can, we shake the paint can before painting and then we proceed to paint them in all corners. Let the paint dry well.

Fourth step:

When the paint is dry, we proceed to remove the sticker. If it doesn't go well, we help remove the remains with a metal stick or similar.

Fifth step:

We decorate the edges of the hearts. We will use black and white marking pens. In one of the boats we will make some stripes and in the other we will draw some black and white dots.

Step Six:

We take the jute rope and decorate the upper part of the boat. We turn around and in the central part we knot and make a loop. We do the same with the fuchsia ribbon. To make it hold more securely, we will glue it with a little bit of glue. We knot in the central part and make a nice bow.

Seventh step:

We only have to put a lit candle and we can enjoy its charm.
