For this Halloween do not miss how to make some fun vampires with chocolates. You can recycle some cardboard tubes, paint them black and make small cuts with cardboard to make them terrifying and original. If you like to decorate any corner this idea is great to be able to place them upside down, they also have a great surprise for children.
The materials I have used for three vampires:
- 3 cardboard tubes for recycling.
- Black acrylic paint.
- A brush.
- 6 plastic eyes.
- Black cardboard for the wings.
- Red cardstock for small triangles.
- Black or brown cardboard for the little arms.
- Black, red or brown pipe cleaners.
- Hot silicone and his gun.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- 3 small candy bars with a Halloween theme.
You can see this craft step by step in the following video:
First step:
We paint the tubes with the black acrylic paint. We let them dry to better place their accessories.
Second step:
In a black card We draw one of the vampire's wings. We can do it by hand and so that it is to scale we can place the tube next to it and do it in proportion to the body. We cut out the wing and use it as a template to make another 5 wings. All of them will have to have a small tab to be able to put it later between the tube.
Third step:
We paint about six small triangles on the red card stock. We cut them out and put them aside.
Fourth step:
With the help of the hot silicone we glue the plastic eyes and we paste the small red triangles above the head, as if they were the ears.
Fifth step:
We do two small and transversal cuts on the sides of the tube. We will insert the wings that we have made of black cardboard through the cuts. We catch the pipe cleaners and cut off the legs of the bat. We will stick them in the lower part of the tube with the silicone. A detail of these legs is that later we can hang the vampires upside down from a branch or something similar.
Step Six:
We paint on the black or brown cardboard some six little arms and we cut them out. With the silicone we stick in the middle of the body a chocolate bar and we surround it with the two little arms that we have cut out.
