Hello everybody! In this craft we are going to see how to make a paper bag to store something or give away. It is perfect for reusing papers that we have at home such as newspaper or any other.
Do you want to see how to do it?
Materials that we will need to make our paper bag
- Paper to make the bag
- Double-sided glue or tape
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
Hands on craft
- The first thing we are going to do is cut out the paper (if necessary) to get the largest possible rectangle or more appropriate to what we want to put inside the bag that we are going to do.
- If we want to put handles on our bag, we will fold one of the long sides of the rectangle two times one over the other to create a border of approximately 1,5cm and glue with glue stick. This will be the top of the bag.
- We fold one of the short ends of the rectangle about 1cm or 1,5cm and glue that double so that it does not move.
- We mark the width we want our bag to have and fold to get the shape of the bag. In my case I am going to make a width of 5 cm, to get a good fold we will measure the length of the paper, we subtract the two sides (10 cm) and divide the excess by two to know how much the other two sides will be. And we already divide the paper and fold.
- We put glue inside the previous double and glue to close our rectangle.
- Now let's close the ass part of the bag, for this we are going to flatten the rectangle. The 5cm (or the width of the bag) is folded in half inward. Then a fold is made at the bottom where the bottom of the bag will go. The bag is opened and the parts of the sides are folded inwards, then the resulting triangles are folded one by one, gluing them well with glue.
- If you want to put handles on the bag You just have to make a few holes with a paper drill and put a cord or loop. If not, we simply bend to the side to close it.
And ready!
I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
