Don't miss out on this great keychain for Father's Day. It is a great idea, since you will learn how to do a very original knot-shaped ball and then we will create another pendant with the name PAPA.
We have chosen a somewhat thick rope, but you can also use a shoelace, with a long length and a round shape. Also, we can buy some beads or beads with letters, to compose said word. We will place everything on a washer so you can carry it as a keychain.
We have many more ideas for Father's Day that you can't miss:
The materials that have been used for the keychain:
- A thick shoelace type rope, with a round shape.
- A washer for the key ring.
- a marble
- Some beads or beads with initials to form the word PAPA,
- Other beads or charms to decorate.
- Transparent fishing line.
- Scissors.
- Lighter.
- Cellophane.
You can see this manual step by step in the following video:
First step:
We put the marble between the index and middle fingers. With the other hand we place one end of the rope to one side and begin to roll the rope between our fingers. We go 4 laps. Then we do the fifth turn on the middle finger.
Second step:
Now we will do 4 turns horizontally. We put the rope behind and between the fingers. We pass it up and go around to the beginning. Then we continue going around.
Third step:
When we have it done, we remove the structure that we have between our fingers. You have to be careful that it remains unbroken, with the marble between the strings.
Fourth step:
Now there will be two holes left in the structure, one above and one below. We pass the end into the hole below to the left. We climb it up and pass it through the hole at the top, where the rope will come out to the right. We make these turns until we make four.
Fifth step:
Now is when we can see how six faces have been formed on the ball, with four turns of rope in each one.
Step Six:
Now we have to adjust the ball, where we will pull the strings strategically to adjust the ball. It will take us a while to find the right ropes to pull from the sides.
Seventh step:
Once the ball is formed, we take the longest end and try to hook it to the ring. We give it a couple of horizontal turns. Then we take the end of the rope and make three vertical turns.
Eighth step:
With the hole that remains at the end of the composition, we pass the rope and pull hard so that this knot remains tied. Then we cut the ends of the rope and burn them a little so that they are sealed.
