Monsters have always been characters present in the lives of all children. There are some that are scary and fun, like these that I have designed to teach you to do today.
It is a very simple job to do at home with the little ones in the holes that we have free time.
Materials to make the monster
- Colored folios
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Glue or hot glue gun
- Colored eva rubber
- Circles eva rubber punch
- Pompons
- White acrylic paint and an awl or similar.
Process to make the monster
Cut two strips 29 x 5 cm paper with the help of scissors and a ruler.
Go bending back and forth The entire strip with a width of approximately 1 cm until you form two accordions like the ones in the photo.
Put those two pieces together respecting the accordion design so that they fit well.
Glue the two ends to close the piece and make sure they snap back together. If necessary, cut out a rectangle.
Press down and you will form a circle like this. Glue a piece of eva rubber on top to prevent the paper from separating.
Now comes the fun. With shapes of eva rubber and a pompom I will design the face. You can do it as you like, imagination to power.
Once all the pieces are glued, our monster is almost built.
We just need to give you a twinkle in his eye using white acrylic paint and a stick or awl.
And… We are done! So is our monster. But you already know that you can play with the designs that are more original. I have made this model too, but surely you do many different ones. If so, don't forget to send me a photo through any of my social networks. I will love to see them.
See you at the next craft.
Bye!
