Do you want a detail for your desk ?, Something special and that gives a different touch to that corner you want to change?… And with recycling material ?.
Do not miss today's entry, well we are going to see the step by step to recycle a can giving it a unique look by decorating it to reuse it as a planter and a second can as a pencil holder.
Makings:
- Can for recycling.
- Chalk paint.
- Brush.
- Double sided tape.
- Hemp rope.
- Hot silicone.
- Wooden Heart.
To make today's craft we are going to need the following materials:
Processing:
- The first thing we are going to do is remove the paper from the tin canThere are some like this that removes very well, if not, we will put it in boiling water for a while and then we will remove it without problems.
- We will put the masking tape at the height we want, tightening well so that it is well adhered.
- With the chalk paint, in this case I have used the green milk, We will paint the first coat, let it dry and we will give it a second coat.
- We will let this second coat of paint dry and We will remove the masking tape.
- We will put double-sided tape next to the painting, (this step can also be done with the hot glue gun).
- Now place the hemp cord wrapping it around the can several times and covering the double-sided tape.
- It is the turn for the decorative detail, in this case a wooden heart. We will glue the heart with silicone to the can.
And we already have our detail to decorate the corner of the desk And it occurs to me that it is a nice gift for Valentine's Day, don't you think?
