For kids to keep track of pending tasks, important dates, or anything else they need to remember , there's nothing better than a reminder board. Even better if it's made by them, to their liking, and with recycled materials.
With just a few materials, you can create this board, and the kids will always have a place to put their important notes. We'll tell you what materials you need and the steps to follow to recreate it at home in just a few minutes.

The materials we will need are the following:
- The cover of cardboard from a shoe box
- The scissors
- Tweezers wooden clothesline
- A rule
- A pencil
- Paintings of colors and a brush
- An iron-on gun and silicone sticks
Step by step
First, we'll cut out the sides of the cardboard lid to create a flat base for the panel. It can be any size you prefer; you can even trim it a bit more to get the desired size.
Step 2:
Using a ruler, we're going to draw two squares of the same size. If you prefer, you can draw other shapes; the fun thing about crafts is that you can make whatever you want, exactly how you like it.
Step 3:
Now we're going to paint the squares different colors. Red, for example, will be for urgent appointments, and blue for special dates.
Step 4:
We painted the two squares, and once the paint was dry, we decorated the edges for a more professional finish. You can use a gold, black, or the same color marker you used to paint the squares—whichever you prefer.
Step 5:
Now we just need to glue on some wooden clothespins . We put a small amount of hot glue on the back of each one. Carefully, we secure it firmly in the center of the square. We repeat this with the other design and wait for them to dry completely before handling the material.
