The bookmarks children made of eva gum they have become a very appreciated object among the smallest readers.
They are perfect for marking the book pointor that we are reading and not forgetting it the next time we have the reading moment again.
We can make many models, but today I am going to propose this funny frog that children surely love to decorate their notebooks and stories.
Materials to make the frog bookmark
- White, green and black eva rubber.
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Red pipe cleaners
- Permanent green, white and yellow markers.
- Two Size Circle Drills
Procedure for making the bookmark
With the help of the ruler and the pencil mark on the green rubber two 7 x 7 cm squares. Cut them out with the scissors. The two must be the same.
Then cut one of the squares down the diagonal so that it is right in the middle.
Take a red pipe cleaner and cut it in half. Roll it up as in the picture to form the frog tongue.
Glue the tongue behind the triangle (half of the square) very carefully.
With the help of green and yellow markers draw the spots on the frog's body, as if they were moles.
Glue this piece on top of the previous one, making the sides of the square coincide perfectly with those of the triangle.
Form two eyes with black and white eva rubber, helping you with the drills. If you don't have one, you can trim them with the scissors.
Glue the eyes on the frog's head and give it a shine with the help of white paint or a permanent white marker.
And you can already enjoy your frog bookmark. Remember that you can let your imagination run wild and create many different designs.
