The snowflake crystals always form whimsical symmetrical figures that are one of the most beautiful symbols of Christmas. We can build our own snow flakes made of paper in a very simple way.
To build them we will need:
- A4 size white paper
- Scissors or cutter
- Pencil and eraser
To start we need our paper to be square. To make our folio have this shape, it is as simple as taking the upper left corner and folding it until it is attached to the right side of the paper, so that we are on a rectangular strip below our square. We cut out that piece and remove it. We already have our square ready.
To get a symmetrical flake we must fold our paper into four parts. We fold it horizontally first and then that same fold vertically. In this way, we will have a square that is a quarter of our unfolded paper size.
This is where we should draw the design of our flake. To do this, we must bear in mind that we cannot cut at the point where the four parts of the paper meet, that is, in the center of the unfolded square.
We cut out the drawing that we have made with the scissors or with the help of a cutter and unfold the paper. We already have our flake finished and perfectly symmetrical.
We can make a hole in the upper part to hang it as an ornament or we can stick it anywhere in our house. It will give you the perfect Christmas touch.
