This craft is perfect for gifting a Super Champions trophy . A plastic bottle has been recycled and transformed into a great trophy that can be given on a special day like Father's Day. With a little spray paint and craft foam, you can make this beautiful trophy that will look perfect in any corner of the house.
The materials I used for the trophy:
- A medium plastic bottle.
- Spray paint, in my case bronze.
- Blue and red EVA foam.
- Gold glitter cardstock.
- Hot silicone and his gun.
- Scissors
- Pencil.
- Cutter.

First step:
Using a craft knife , cut the plastic bottle. Make a cut at the base to create a piece about 4 cm long. Depending on the height of the bottle, the other piece will need to be cut to a smaller or larger size. This second piece should be cut to match the desired height of the glass.
Second step:
We paint the bottle. We can place paper over the area to be painted and spray the cut-out parts of the bottle. We let it dry and repaint if we notice that it hasn't covered all areas well.
Third step:
On a piece of craft foam, draw a flower shape with a pencil . It should be roughly the right size for the area where it will be placed (on the front of the trophy). Cut it out and glue it on using silicone.
Fourth step:
Using a compass, we measure the inside of the flower we've made. This will give us a rough estimate of the size of a small circle that will go inside. We transfer this measurement to the back of the gold cardstock and draw the circle with the compass. We cut it out and glue it in the center.
Fifth step:
We cut two strips of red EVA foam. They will be about 12 cm long and one centimeter wide. We glued the strips to both sides of the trophy, as handles, using hot glue.
Step Six:
We glued the two cut-out bottle halves together with hot glue to form the trophy . We cut another strip 1,5 cm wide by 9 cm long. We'll use this strip to cover the bottle cap so it's hidden.
Seventh step:
We take a piece of red craft foam and place it near the gold glitter circle. We try to estimate the space we need to draw the number 1. We draw it, cut it out, and glue it on with hot glue. With this last step, our Super Champions trophy will be finished.
