Today we are going to make a very practical ornament for these upcoming dates: you are going to see how to make a sweet box for Easter in five minutes.
A gift that you will surely take advantage of to give to the little ones and those who like sweets. Let's go with the step by step ...
Makings:
- Glass jar.
- Green raffia ribbon.
- White cardboard.
- Pink cardstock.
- Adhesive foam.
- Paper hole punch.
- Big shot.
- White gel pen.
- Baker's Twine.
- Lace.
- Candies or chocolates.
- Large circle shaped die.
- Small circle shaped die.
- Cookie-shaped die.
Note: The Big shot can be replaced by any other die, or make a drawing and cut out with scissors!
Processing:
- We start by die-cutting the cardboard. For it punch out a cookie shape and a circle a little smaller than this. The size will depend on your jar.
- Die another larger circle (about the size of the cap) and glue to the lid of the jar with double-sided tape.
- Write your little message in the circle on the card. Put adhesive foam on the back, to give the final result a three-dimensional shape.
- With the hole punch, make a hole and pass the Baker's Twine or any fine cord you want. Tie a knot and reserve.
- Put double-sided tape and glue the lace to the top of the jar. All around the contour.
- Pass the raffia ribbon green color above the lace and incorporates the label, make a loop to finish the decoration.
It's time introduce the candies or chocolates, in this case it is better if they are egg-shaped, for pure decoration. Put the lid on and you will have your Easter candy box ready, as you have seen in five minutes !!!
I hope it inspires you and that we fill these Easter with beautiful jars !!!
