The Christmas gifts they are a tradition every year. We always want to make the most original possible without spending a lot of money, but if that gift is made by us it has much more value. In this post I am going to teach you how to make some custom labels or tags to give these holidays and give a very personal touch to your gift boxes.
Materials to make the gift tags
- Decorated papers
- Cardboards
- Decorated tape or whasi tape
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pompons
- Little things to decorate like flakes, pearls ...
- Eva rubber punches
Procedure for making gift tags.
- To start we are going to trim 11 x 6 cm rectangles. You can adapt the sizes to your needs.
- We are going to trim the slanted sides at the top as the picture shows to give it the label shape.
- Now with a hole punch holes, I'll make one on each tag. And we already have the structure of our gift tags.
MODEL 1.
This model is great because it combines the Christmas trees and they are very original.
- Cut out with decorated papers (you can use the ones you have left over from other crafts) two triangles and glue them to the cardboard.
- With marker, make some ondas which will be the trunks of the trees.
- Place a strip of tape and cut what is left over.
- Glue a heart or something similar and do some details with green and red markers.
- I will use a cord to tie it to the gift.
MODEL 2.
This tag is great for kids because it has a very christmas hat and fun.
- Cut out the base of the hat in decorated paper and paste it on the label. Then paste on top the white strip and the pompom.
- At the bottom place a piece of ribbon decorated and embellished with some snowflakes and details in marker the rest of the label.
- I will use a pipe cleaner to be able to place it in the box.
MODEL 3.
This model is the more elegant and it is used to put the name of the person to whom you are going to give the gift.
- Short a piece of paper in a different shade to the one on the card and stick it on top. Cut out what is left over.
- Place a piece of decorated ribbon in the center and with eva rubber make a combination of flower and star. Stick it on the tag.
- With brown marker I'm going to make an imitation of stitch as if it were thread and, to finish, I will to write my name with a silver marker.
- To hang it from the gift I'm going to put a pipe cleaner on it.
And so far today's idea, I hope you liked it. If you want to learn to do more labels, you can see them HERE.
