In this tutorial I teach you to create one unicorn notebook, and it will be easier than it seems because I leave you the standards so you can copy or print them and you can decorate the notebook yourself.
Materials
To make the unicorn notebook you will need the following materials:
- Notebook
- Rubber eva
- Awl
- Scissors
- Markers
- White acrylic paint
- Silicone
- Pattern of the unicorn drawing that I leave you below
Step by step
Let's start by disassembling the notebook, in this way we can work better. Take off the rings or the spiral, and separate the sheets, keeping the pasta of the notebook to be able to cover them. Apply silicone on the lids and glue the aquamarine foam on them. Cut off the excess with scissors.
To be able to reinsert the spiral of the notebook when finished, make the holes with an awl.
Next we are going to use the template. You must divide it into the different parts of the Unicorn, and to make things even easier, I leave you the standards also of each separate part. You just have to copy and print it in the size you want, that will depend on the size of your notebook.
Cut out all the pieces and mark them with the awl on eva gum. For the face and hair I use white eva rubber, for the eyes the color black and for the horn a pink color, mine is shiny and perforated, which gives it a more special touch. Cut each part in the rubber foam.
We will add costumes y details, so outline the unicorn's face with a marker pen gray, and then rub that part with rubber foam to blur it. Color the part of the hair with many different shades, blur again and outline the entire contour with a black marker. For the horn use a darker pink tone and blur it too, and to finish use the black marker to create the lines you see in the pattern.
Glue all the parts on the notebook with silicone and to finish the details draw the nose and ears as you see in the pattern, and for the eyes apply two small white dots with acrylic paint to simulate the gloss.
To finish, replace the sheets and the spiral to join the notebook, and you will have your unicorn notebook to brighten up your study table and your notes.
