In today's craft we are going to see how to make a decorative element for these days that are coming. In addition to decorating, we recycle tin cans, a two in one for a first-rate DIY.
In the first place, with these cans you can decorate a corner of your home giving a room a fun look and secondly we recycle and save money, which is always good. Let's go with the step by step ...
Makings:
- Reserve cans.
- White primer or gesso.
- Orange acrylic paint.
- Brush.
- Branch pieces.
- Decorated paper in black tones.
- Wire.
- Glue with hot gun.
- Sandpaper.
Processing:
First of all, once the cans are used, we will wash and dry them well. Next we will prepare the decoration of the pumpkin cans:
- We will draw some leaves on the decorated paper and cut them out.
- We will cut the branch into pieces for the tail.
- We will make a spring with the wire (you can see how HERE).

- We will give a hand of gesso to the cans that we want to decorate. Then we will let it dry.
- We will apply brush strokes with the color orange and the almost dry brush to reveal white areas, thus achieving a two-tone effect.

- Once dry we will rub with sandpaper in specific areas, giving a worn look to the whole.
- It is time to apply the decoration, For this, with the hot silicone gun we will fix the piece of branch, the sheet of paper and the wire.

The result of our recycling has been a special and fun decorative motif, that will be very original in these days of Halloween decorating any corner of our home.
I hope you liked it and that you put it into practiceIf so, you know that I would love to see it on any of my social networks. You can also share and give the Like, see you in the next craft.
