Wire flowers and nail polish

flower

Some time ago I had seen this kind of eva rubber flowers made with wire and nail polish on the Internet and the truth is that I really wanted to try doing them. And here you have the result.

They are very original flowers to decorate and with practice they become more and more beautiful. Another option is to use them to make barrettes, in scrunchies, in hair clips or as headbands.. If you search a bit on Google Images, you will surely find really surprising ideas.

Materials

  1. Nail polish the color we want the petals to be.
  2. Wire of aluminum.
  3. Tongs.
  4. A carton so as not to stain us

Our Process

To begin, we will place the materials on the cardboard so as not to stain our clothes. Later, we will take the pliers and begin to shape the wire. To shape it into a petal, all we have to do is turn the wire around itself. We will repeat this action to make the rest of the flower petals.

It is important that once we have all the petals of the flower made, we fix the end that is left over from the first petal with the end that is left over from the last petal. To do so, all we have to do is intertwine them.

Then we will secure the petals by turning them around At the base, too, we can skip this step and leave them as they were. We have preferred to fix them to give the flower more resistance.

Once we have the flower petals well done, we will go to paint the petals with nail polish. All we have to do is run the nail polish brush along the inner edge of the petal with plenty of paint and then try to create a film by stretching the paint around the petal. It's a bit tricky the first time you do it, but afterwards, it's very easy.

I hope you liked it and Until the next DIY!
