Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to wrapping a ragged gift in a simple and beautiful way. It is perfect for slippers without box, stuffed animals, figures ect, which can be more difficult to wrap than other kinds of things.
Do you want to see how to do it?
Materials that we will need to wrap an irregular gift
- Object to be wrapped, in this case a pair of slippers.
- Gift paper to our liking
- A ribbon, rope or yarn that matches the chosen wrapping paper.
- Double-sided tape, to prevent it from being seen, although you can use normal tape if you prefer.
Hands on craft
- We cut wrapping paper so that there is a lot of paper left on the top, and the right on the sides and the bottom.
- We make a fold on the sides so that the cut is better and more resistant and we glue the sides with double-sided tape.
- We close the bottom where we will have the lower part of the object to be wrapped, which is normally somewhat flatter. We close it in the normal way we wrap gifts.
- We support the gift at the base already closed and press a little to finish gluing the base. Then we are crushing the sides to the top edge and we tighten the folds.
- We return to support the gift on the table and go over the tight edges. We take the ribbon or wool, we will cut a measure five times longer than the width of the flattened edge of the gift. We make a knot to close the ribbon and put the wool on the paper where the knot is to hide it and we are folding the paper several times until it is about 10-15 centimeters from the gift and stick well with double-sided tape.
- We make a knot with the edges of wool to create a bow that will serve as decoration and handle at the same time.
And ready!
I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
